The Feminine Divine is one of Cape Town’s largest belly dance studios with 3 passionate and skilled teachers teaching over 350 students in and around Cape Town!
Tenille Lindeque opened the studio in 2003 and has since been featured on Top Billing and Spirit Sunday. She is one of Cape Town’s most sensual dancers and is well respected in the belly dance community.
The focus in our studio is on portraying and honoring the beauty and strength of the feminine spirit. We aim to embrace and accept our bodies in all their assorted variations and challenge the media’s stereotypical image of beauty by demonstrating the unique beauty of each dancer.
You will find that belly dancing brings renewed self confidence, increased fitness and a feeling of well being as well as being a wonderful place to meet new friends and have fun.
Please note that belly dancing is for all women, regardless of age, race, weight or fitness levels, it is about learning to love our bodies and acknowledge the beauty of the feminine spirit.
We offer classes for beginners through to advanced dancers as well as professional performances for your events!
